Song Ji-hyo Calls Kim Jong-kook “Honey” Again on Running Man: Sparks Fly in Their Legendary Onscreen Chemistry
On the latest episode of SBS’s Running Man aired on May 4, Song Ji-hyo once again affectionately called Kim Jong-kook “Honey (여보♥),” sending the cast and fans into a fit of laughter. Their playful banter and undeniable chemistry continue to delight viewers, reinforcing their status as Running Man’s ultimate “some” couple.

In the episode, the Running Man cast traveled to Pocheon, but Song Ji-hyo arrived late after getting lost on unfamiliar roads while driving herself. Her panting entrance and complaints about the uphill climb brought laughter from the cast.
But the highlight of the episode came during a mission involving a shaky bridge. As Kim Jong-kook teased her, Song Ji-hyo instinctively shouted, “Honey!”, causing an uproar among the cast. “Here we go again!” they laughed, referring to the recurring and beloved pet name she uses for Jong-kook.
This isn’t the first time Ji-hyo has used the term. In a previous episode during a mission in Seongsu-dong, she casually referred to Kim Jong-kook as “Honey” while discussing a product she wanted. Even then, she tried to brush it off, claiming she meant to say “Hello” (“Yeoboseyo”), but only the first part slipped out.

Her habit of creating nicknames didn’t stop there. In this episode, she dubbed Choi Daniel “Niel” and Ji Ye-eun “Yenny,” prompting playful complaints from the other members: “Stop using your own secret language!”
With every new “Honey” moment, Song Ji-hyo and Kim Jong-kook rekindle the flames of speculation and entertainment, proving once again why their dynamic is a fan favorite.
